I enjoy how her mom teases her so successfully. :D

Her name is Madeline, Alice. Just call her Madie and see how she reacts.

I used to do this to my kids too. They loved it!

Ya know sometimes my mom wouldn’t just call us by the wrong kid name she’ll yell for us using one of our pet’s names.

Actually, a good insight from Alice there in the last panel, that is realising (here is a ‘z’ if you miss it that much) why her mum did this, well assuming that is indeed why she did what she did.
