It’s because you are a unpaid internship

That’s exactly how you look from the other end of the telescope.

A paid internship is lights years away for you!!!

A little passive-aggressive here???

We got a Korean graduate student for an intern one summer. Part of the deal; he got an apartment, a rental car and a decent salary. Pretty sure he had little driving experience based on his questions about freeway ‘etiquette’. He worked like a possessed demon but he spent his whole first paycheck on a weekend in Las Vegas. Next paycheck, off to The Grand Canyon to hike. Then trail biking and he got scraped up a bit. Last I heard he graduated from Seoul National University with a Phd, moved to the USA and joined a semiconductor start-up. Motivation!

Is this ‘Get your intern to draw the comic day’?

Is there anything like a “paid” internship?

Surely, she is an unpaid intern, doing an unpaid internship

Now she sees the light….

Not to mention the astronomical amount of student debt.

Unpaid internships should be illegal. My daughter had to do that for 1 year to be a teacher and then the school district, after praising her to the sky, said they had no job for her. They replaced her with another unpaid intern.

If you’re less insignificant like… lets say the kid of some boss’ friend you can tell by the stupendous stipend it receives for doing nothing useful.

Is she related to Carl by chance? (now how many people know what I am talking about?)
