Our daughter has a two story house. She has a child gate at the top of the stairs to keep the dog away from the cat food and cat litter. Heâll eat either.
My brother and his wife wanted a kitty that I was fostering so after completing all the necessary adoption papers, I took the kitty to them (I was volunteering with a cat rescue group at the time). Along with the kitty in the carrier, I took some food and a litter pan with litter for them. While my fiance and I were sitting with them in the living room, my youngest nephew who was around 2 at the time crawled back behind my brotherâs chair where my brother had set up the litter box. My nephew found the kitty âtootsie rollâ and started to put it in his mouth. My fiance (now husband) politely told my brother that he may want to stop the kid. My brother absolutely freaked! I didnât know he could move that fast as he snatched up the kid, knocked the poop out of his mouth and ran into the kitchen to wash his mouth out! I probably should not have laughed but my brother and his wife were, and are, both âanything goesâ type of people with no sense of boundaries or filters. I guess we found my brotherâs boundary! No poop eating!
