What can I say other than this strip is wonderfully silly. Oh, and for you mouse-haters, the control tower is doing a great job. Just think of all the “quack-ups” there would be without him.
Back when I lived in Colorado, I’d take my lunch break and go to the Pueblo City Park. They had/have a small but nice lake that was a favorite tourist spot for migrating ducks and geese. We also had a lot of ring-billed gulls that were permanent residents. During the height of the season, it was amazing to watch all the birds fly in and land on the water while an equal number took flight from the lake. Never once did I see a collision or even a close call. And they did it all without any air traffic control. Maybe “bird-brains” aren’t so dumb after all.
