So is Phoebe an adult in Future Marigold’s time? Or at least a teenager?

Priorities mean less when you know you have enough time for multiple things.

Hmm, Dana, not shall we see the adult Phoebe join the future Marigold? Does she still have freckles?

Depending on the time period, Phoebe could be a middle schooler, a college student, or a very old woman.

Really messing up the timeline, Marigold. I don’t want to make too much of it, but if a large bug-man shows up and starts eating people to get strong enough to absorb 2 androids so that he can achieve his perfect form, I’m blaming you.

I like the thought of Marigold using unicorn magic on a very old Phoebe so they can stay best friends forever.

This story arc reminds me of the question of whether Calvin and Hobbes remain friends as Calvin grows up or whether Calvin starts to see Hobbes as the stuffed doll that other characters see him as. The fan-fiction strip Hobbes and Bacon seems to suggest that Calvin comes to see Hobbes as a doll and is therefore able to carry him to his daughter Bacon. Bacon’s mother is, of course, Susie.
