Then I guess Andy must have fallen asleep. That would disturb the “peace”.

Both sarge and corporal seem to agree on Andys assertion!

Andy makes a good point, Constable.

And what was he doing in the Rose & Crown? Shouldn’t he be out and about doing his rounds?

They probably got a cell reserved for him.

The way he turns his head all the way around in the second panel…he is either possessed or part owl

All he is saying is give Peace a chance.

Does any pub in town have peace without Andy?

No peace among drunks. War and peace was not written in a bar.

The only thing that resembles peace at the Rose and Crown is when someone “peace” on the floor.

Well, if it’s an ongoing brawl every Saturday night, why single out Andy?

I used to work in a bar like that when I was younger. All of the staff had a large can of Bear Spray (Mace on Steroids). When a fight would break out we would yell to the crowd, “You have 15 seconds to take it outside or we spray everyone.” The regulars would immediately head for the doors. The dummies would keep fighting until we got over to them with the Bear Spray.

This strikes home, that’s what it was like at the bar I went to last night, except the fights.

I can’t believe Andy hasn’t used that defense before. It certainly is a good one.
