route planning is crucial. We live with the fencing of a Joint Base to our immediate west so shopping becomes …Go north do the necessary appointments/shopping in that area; Swing East and hit the stores and doctors in that area, Bend south and do what is needed there, then return northward to home!
For a Plugger, going to the Hardware store is always on travel route, whether you need something or not. Especially if they have the popcorn machine back up and going after the pandemic.
I usually plan my trips to make the most efficient use of my time. Should I get gas first or last? Am I picking up meds that need to be refrigerated? Are any of the groceries frozen? What are the temps outside? How long will each stop take?
I have a lot of ‘But firsts’. I need to mow the lawn, but first I need to get the mower blade sharpened, but first I need to find my sharpening stone, but first… It’s why I never get around to some things…

And if you’re doing plumbing, back to the hardware store a couple of times later in the day.

Daily cartoon calendar tear-off sheets are just the right size for those to-do lists.

To do or not to do. That is the question.

“Continued on next list”

My biggest problem when I make a list is, remembering to look at it “BEFORE” I leave a Hardware or Grocery Store …. :)
