I sort of thought that all the Pterosaurs were ground nesters. Not tree nesters. Most of the ones I have seen in museums were simply to big to be in trees.

Flippity-flap, and that was that.

Used to live in AZ, every spring the Grackles would build nests in my tree outback, and h**l would explode if I went out back. EVERY Grackle in the area would go off like a 3 alarm fire. Like I’m ra*ing the baby

That happens when you walk under trees without looking.

Mom’s pretty cold. On the plus side, once the kids are gone, she can get out and do her pterodactyl thing again.

Was he training for flight or was he taking his first hunting trip ? OK lunch is now being served.

Wrong place at the wrong time…

Watch that first step, it is a doozy.

Years ago when I worked at a Home Depot as a cashier, I was in the garden area where a fledgling landed on my register and stayed there through my full shift. Can you imagine how terrifying that first flight attempt is?

For those who are interested, after I clocked out, I came back to check on the bird, and it had hopped down to the ground. The next day it was gone, hopefully under its own power.

You cannot find a job? Our many prisons need janitors competent in toilet bowls.

Time to leave the nest ……… at least had a soft landing …………… and the landing pad has a headache …………… :)
