Who would have thought these two geeks knew anything about identifying trees?

And the lack of common sense rears its head again.

Not all street names are inappropriate. The place where I work is on River Road, which runs along the banks of a river. The river is no more than fifty yards from our fence, and the road has been flooded at times, although not deeply. But I hope the dam doesn’t break.

Someone sure wasn’t paying attention when it came time to plant trees down the roads. You had ONE job!

You won’t be thanked.

They’re going to have to change Sycamore and Willow Drive, and Walnut and Elm, and Redbud and Dogwood Place too.

Last night I traveled through this new subdivision with a lot of streets named for types of oak. My friend lives on Poison Oak Street. I guess they ran out.

Google maps will adjust to the change

When in my first assigned town during my missionary service, the street on which my living quarters was located was named Beech Street. I don’t remember if there were beech trees thereon.

If a police car is turning around, just pull over, be cool, and get out your L&R. Seriously, they don’t want any trouble either.
