This time Sophie buried herself in the wash too much and was almost taken for a piece of laundry. If it were the kittens, they would’ve leaped out of there so fast – like wind.
My parents had an Old English Sheepdog – think Nana, from Peter Pan – who adored my dad. Flossie was kept in the laundry room at night, and she’d dig out all of Daddy’s clothes and make a nest to sleep on.
