One October night about 20 years ago, I was driving through Nelson County, Va. All of a sudden the sky lit up — the entire dome of the sky. There was no sound, just a brief flash, then dark again. There were no clouds, so it couldn’t have been lightning. I checked the news the next day… nothing about it. Very strange.
