That’s NOT true. There are laws and have been for years that if a person, male or female perform a job they receive the same pay. The real truth is the Clintons manufactured this lie for political reasons, When you aveage a man’s lifetime earnings they are higher than the aveage woman’s lifetime earnings. This is because a lot of women take time off work to have babies and raise a family, while the men do not. And believe it or not there are still some single income families where the women do not enter the work force.
Women DO NOT get paid less per hour than men doing the same job, its against a law passed by the federal government years ago!!! If a women feels she is not getting paid the same, she can file a lawsuit which she will win every time. Of course, she has to be correct by showing proof. Any lawyer will jump on this type of case, they know there’s no way of losing.
The above comments about the federal law that supposedly equalizes pay between genders overlook the fact that only a small percentage of all federal regulations are ever scrutinized seriously enough to assure strict compliance. There is no way there are enough inspectors or inspections to assure full compliance. Some companies demonstrate token compliance and others outright ignore it until a complaint raises enough dust to require adjudication. Things change for a while then return to ‘normal.’
