In their 6 Oct 22 podcast Stanti predicted that the loopdy dupedy GQP candidates that the Dems were supporting were going to ironically win their elections. That didn’t happen. He further averred that trumpster fire would wait to see how his loopdy dupedy candidate proteges performed to determine whether he would run, the idea being that should they do badly, trumpster fire wouldn’t run…………..Whelp, after they pooped the bedsheets, he still is running…………………….other than those perfect prognostications, Stanti has be spot on……………………..maybe……………about what he had for breakfast.

Newspapers are fast becoming rare and endangered. Once gone, what if anything will take their place? Will anyone be left to expose the crooked politicians?

I can vaguely recall reading sometime about 2010 about a republican campaign official whose candidate had lost who then got himself appointed as the city manager of a Texas town and started to rather brazenly embezzle everything that town had. I think the San Antonio Express-News did a few front page articles that exposed him after he had been city manager for about 2 years.

When the local weekly town or county newspapers are gone, who will be left to keep a jaundiced eye on the politicians? Or those members of Congress who run for Congress to make more money? One thing for sure, it won’t be TV

“Okay, Mr. Editor, why do you continue to run comics that are nothing but an ‘artist’ lazily copying-and-pasting the same figures over and over… oh wait.”

Love the paper’s name. Does the editor have a collar?
