I never, even when my generation was the target of fashion ads, paid much attention to fashion. I still don’t unless I like what I see, like colored denim. Of course, not the tight stuff of course, given I am a little overweight.

It’s more of a senior citizen’s dismissal.

I paid enough attention to it, to keep from feeling out of step. I just never thought getting new clothes at the whims & fancies of some silly Fashion Designer was worth the money. What do they know about real life & what I need?

While back I asked a friend who had a near Marcos-level shoe collection., after a beat, she admitted, ‘I guess I love these artists artistry in clothing my feet..’
