This virus seems a bit more than that 24 hour bug that’s going around.

Worked on a virus once that actually had defenses against AV software. It “hid” the virus removal features of Norton AV and changed the web address if you tried to visit one of the AV sites. Had to go to a second machine to download the removal tool.

Oh I don’t know. That one was very entertaining.

Norton gives me similar “error messages” from the opposite side. It is apparently an urgent problem that I have not bought everything Norton wants to sell me.

Apparently, my laptop is going to die because I have neither Norton nor McAfee installed on it.

Don’t fall for vicious ads….Gary needs to step away from the computer…

That would cause me to pause also….

If I had to choose between a pop-up ad and a pop-out ad I’d definitely sign up for the former.
