It won’t be our problem, A.I. will be in charge by then and we will be extinct. Let THEM deal with the roaches.

Fact number 1: In every mass extinction, almost every animal larger than a house cat perishes.

Fact Number 2: Human beings are larger than house cats.

How come in all these comics, aliens don’t wear clothes?

Does anyone here remember ‘Alfred Hitchcock Presents’ on TV many moons ago? He would walk up to his silhouette, that was drawn on the screen, and would say, “Good EVening,”

So is this what the “Save the planet” people are saving it for?

In Tom Robbins’s Another Roadside Attraction, there’s a discussion of the resilience and ability to survive of both the cockroach and the gonococcus. One of the participants speculates:

“Years after man, over some childish politico-economic misunderstanding has obliterated himself and turned the green Earth into a cinder ball, then the real battle will begin. Gonorrhea and the cockroach fighting it out for ultimate domination of the universe. Now there’s your Armageddon.”

Thay are the only ones that will want it after we are done with it.
