Now she’s getting a particularly sharp axe… she’s hefting it high over her head… she’s approaching her mother-in-law with a fiendish glint in her eye… swinging it downward… yikes. Bounced right off without even making a scratch!

This explains why Cathy stayed at the mall so long. When my in-laws are visiting, I love having an excuse to get away.

Is this the same MIL who is letting her son ruin all of Cathy’s clothes in the washing machine? Maybe Cathy had a premonition and knew that she would need all new clothes after Irving got done with the laundry.
