Yeah?

That place isn’t big enough to hold all the likely story books.

These are the unauthorized biographies.

Very funny!

I want to see the other side of the bookcase.

You expect me to believe that?

They might be true … but probably not.

Will he enjoy them? I suppose that’s likely.

Fiction?

This reminds me of the great comedienne Rita Rudner. Not fond of elaborate cooking, she says she reads recipes like science fiction. When she gets to the end, she says to herself, “Well, that’s not going to happen.”

At the other extreme we have the UK author Robert Rankin, who specializes in what he calls “far-fetched fiction”.

He became famous writing “two buddies in a pub” stories which gradually unfold to involve lost arks, extraterrestrial invasion, time travel and other complications no one would dare relate before the traditional “ten o’clock watershed”. Although not so widely read in the US, he’s worth a read.

Bigger than the fictional section.

I don’t read those books, they are only likely stories. I read books that real stories.

The conservatives will have them all banned.

I consider it unlikely that that many stories are actually “likely”.
