I was a ‘smart kid’, and I would have been hopeless as a tutor at that age. Learning what the teachers wanted me to learn came so easily to me that I had no idea what kinds of obstacles other kids faced in understanding the material, much less how to overcome them.

chester hits right at home for me because he reminds me of this tall kid i knew im elementary school. he was really tall and he was always saying rude things to the other kids and i always thought he could easily beat up anybody

I kind of like this arc I just wish it was Francis tutoring him instead
