This feels very much like a Calvin and Hobbes strip.

Give it a catchier name, and it’ll take this nation by STORM, baby!

I’ve been accused of not feeling bad enough when I make a mistake. But the truth is, I’m just very self-forgiving (it mostly slops over on everyone else, though not QUITE as much).

So, unicorns were out of balance with nature. Small wonder they disappeared long, long ago. No more UNICORN!

It’s my birthday. Can I be a unicorn and cheat at reality for a while? It would be an awesome present!

What if you’re fated to feel bad anyway?

Nothing wrong with believing in fate, but I prefer to believe in the most powerful force in the universe: random chance.

Pretty much the philosophy of many Americans. We only want to take responsibility for the good we do and blame society for the bad we do.

I don’t like to think about fate because then I tend to always assume that it will be more negatives more than positive.

and I’ve considered for a long time, all the good things people do for charity and volunteer work and being kind to the needy and suffering.

You DON’T need to be religious at all or anything to do good work for others.

people can be guided to to the right thing just by asking themselves if it’s right or not.

I can’t explain how or why anyone should be in the right or wrong place at the right or wrong time.

Marigold should learn one day the hard lesson that even unicorns aren’t just automatically never wrong.

I wonder if unicorns in Phoebe’s world are also entitled creatures and how the people in Phoebe’s world really see them.

with the shield of boringness turned on do they just see them like a child’s dog friend

And if it’s off do they see them as a creature above all other life including humans?.

It’s obvious if Marigold ever did something wrong that she would just charm her way out of it.
