I’d take the or what choice. More flexible. That way if the date goes bad, it won’t be a friendship ruined, a boyfriend’s fault (if you think I’d say girlfriend’s fault, please, this is Cathy) or a business going belly up. Surprising neither one didn’t AACK at the mention of the boyfriend/girlfriend option. Somehow I expect more from this couple.

Why can’t they just go out as two single “pet parents” and continue discussing how much they love and adore their “children” over a nice, quiet dinner?!? Why is it necessary to put a “label” on it? When I’m not working, I’m coaching inner city kids in basketball and soccer. I’m on my way out to have dinner with Aaron and his firefighter mates.
Thanks for sharing, Billy. I think it’s interesting to know more about everyone, and that’s awesome what you do with the kids. I bet it’s a lot of fun. It’s totally irrelevant, but I just wanted to say that we went out to a Tibetan restaurant tonight, and yak is really delicious! Even my kids loved it more than their own meal (they will eat almost anything). I had no idea that it was so good, and am also amazed that we got it in our “white bread” suburb. Love trying new things!
