Oh great. The first Cathy I get to read in days and she a flipping lunatic. I knew she couldnā€™t live without out my advice and guidance. By ā€˜advice and guidanceā€™ I mean my yelling at my computer screen and rolling my eyes.

    Ā

Morning Susan Youā€™re a dear heart. Thank you.

    Ā

Morning KFG who I missed by a whole 8 hours. Iā€™m still laughing at the mustard/relilsh/mayo thing. :-D

    Ā

Morning lightenup when you get here. I havenā€™t come up with a winter avatar just yet. A bit early. So you get to see me for a bit.

    Ā

Afternoon Mom!! Definitely having a case of Mom withdrawal. Iā€™ll catch up on Cathy in a while.

    Ā

Oh yeah, I forgot, I have found a wi-fi spot at the apt complex Iā€™m staying at until I have to check in to the Mayo on Sunday afternoon. :-D Yay!

@Aaron, I like your pic! Cathy is like most women when it comes to shoe choices. Me, I wear flats or nearly flats because I am a klutz and donā€™t like heights. Itā€™s so rare for Cathy to go on a real date I sometimes feel sorry for her(not)! lol

I never knew that dogs are capable of such sarcasm, but figures it would be Cathyā€™s dog thatā€™s the master. I like *Susan*ā€™s idea! click-clunk-click-clunk would sure get Irvingā€™s attention. LOL!!Good morning, Aaron!! Looks like I just missed you. I thought I was running late, but you and I are synced as usual. Welcome for the weekend! So glad you have wi-fi. (love your avatar :-))Hey KFG ā€“ Iā€™m guessing youā€™re sleeping now after a hard dayā€™s night. Yeah, I know my joke yesterday was an oldie. Iā€™m so used to telling jokes to kidsā€¦ Iā€™ll have to look around for a better one that stays within gocomicsā€™ guidelines.Good morning Susan! Hello to Billy, GsMom, nannygram and all the other Cathy nuts that roll around here today!

Why does this comic always remind me of the things my wife really does? She is also a Cathy (with a C)

Awww, thatā€™ sweet that Electra thinks this is exciting. I have another word. I wonā€™t use it. Maybe another time, because there will be another time.

    Ā

I was gonna mess with Aaronā€™s display name while heā€™s away, but I see that heā€™s also logging in.

    Ā

Hi fellow Cathy-people. Since I donā€™t do home-alone well, I went to work today. Aaron not at home feels too weird. You gals are sweet to be wishing him well. No such thing as strangers any longer I guess.

Since I donā€™t want a broken ankle the answer is always flats.

lightenup I havenā€™t answered your questions from yesterday. Sorry. I wanted to get some info from Aaron first. He says if it does work, he should get full sight back. As for when heā€™ll know it worked, we donā€™t know. Could be a week or more because theyā€™ll keep him out of work at least that long. heā€™s supposed to do nothing for a week. Well, the odds are the same as us seeing Cathy sane for more than a day. The surgery is gonna involve an electrical implant along his optic nerve. High tech ā€” Six Million Dollar Man high tech.

    Ā

See you folks tomorrow. Aaron went out to dinner with the crew helping him.

Plantar fasciitis and 23 years of marriage dictate that I live in flats and tennis shoes (with specially made orthotics) these days! But I still like to bust out the high heels for the occasional special evening out on the town every now and then!

    Ā

    ;-)

    Ā

Good evening, Aaron, Dr. Billy, lightenup, Susan, K.F.G. and all my other Cathy fanatic ā€œfriendsā€ . . . itā€™s good to ā€œseeā€ you all! Iā€™m on late tonight because I was out most of the day trying to get a little bit of Christmas shopping done. Had a little fender-bender in one of the store parking lots while we were both backing out of our spaces at the same time but no one was hurt and it didnā€™t cause any damage to either of our cars so we each went on our way.

    Ā

Christmas shopping . . . on a Saturday . . . in December. As Cathy would say: AACK!!!!!!!!!! This is why I absolutely love online shopping! Unfortunately, the few little things I had to pick up would have cost an absolute fortune in shipping prices so I was forced to venture out into the actual world of of crazy Christmas shoppers . . . and itā€™s not even that close to ā€œcrunch timeā€ yet!!!!! Oh, how I wish I could say I got all my shopping done but I didnā€™t. Iā€™ve still got 3 or 4 more people on my list to buy for which means I will have to go out there in that mess again in the not-too-distant future. But when I do, you can better believe it that absolutely WONā€™T be on another Saturday!!!!!
