OOOOOK! Now that’s just sad…….you should never take work with you on a vacation…….because when you come back it’ll feel like you never left….then again this IS Cathy we’re talking about insert eye roll from Aaron here. LOL……Happy Friday all ye Cathy nuts!!……..Is everyone ready for Christmas? Not to brag but I AM!!…….Then again all I have to do is remember to bring my cream cheese short bread cookies to work on Sunday. My 4 Christmas cards are sent, they’ll recieve them by Ukrainian Christmas (Jan. 7)……I’ll probably check in on Sat and Sun. after work…………But for those of you that won’t be>>>HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! :D…….travel safely and go easy on the sweets :)
I’m am not at all surprised Cathy’s BizarroWorld is a 180 from the rest of the real world. I woulda been disappointed otherwise.
Morning Susan when you stop by. Morning lightenup who is also very near by according to my spidey senses. KFG age has nothing to do with Billy Kringles antics, nor mine for that matter. We’ve regressed to our childhoods and plan to stay that way through the holidays. Afternoon / evening Mom! So nice to see you most every day.
I admit that I have done this before. I have such high hopes of getting things done on vacation, and never do. Now, I only bring a magazine or two that I need to finish reading.Good morning, Aaron and Billy! Sounds like you two are having fun. It’s entertaining to hear about your antics. :-) I’m a little late this morning because the kids are now out of school, so I slept in until 8am. And then it takes some time to get us all coordinated and breakfast made. Hi KFG!! As always, your posts are fun to read! I’m pretty much done, although I’ve got to mail some last minute cards for my husband. The kids are getting antsy. I had a long conversation with the 6 yo yesterday about how tomorrow (meaning today) was not Christmas eve. Boy, was she disappointed. I am glad they had school until yesterday – it kept them occupied.Hello to Susan, gmforde, rgcviper, Mai Tai, GsMom, lindz.coop and all the other Cathy nuts that roll around here today!Hope you’re all done with everything and getting ready to relax! We’re going to ride the Pink Pig at Macy’s today (an Atlanta tradition that we’ve picked up since living here). Wheeee! :-)
I’m not too surprised to see that others have done this. I can’t imagine this though. Then again, my tool set isn’t paper. I’d bring home a test tube or a beaker. Aaron would bring home a conflagration or an ambulance.
By the way, the bib from last night is alive and well. A kid has to be a kid, even when he’s 36. :-D
Hi and Merry Christmas to all the Cathy nuts!! I confess (yet again), that I used to do this and yes, to that extent. I have come to my senses in later years however, and now just take a book and some knitting.
I’m ready for Christmas, but the kitten keeps giving us “scares” with his 8 inch incision and making sure he eats, drinks, and does other bodily functions. He also ripped his morphine patch covering off and then slept all day — maybe a little high? dunno. Can’t keep him restricted, he just goes ballistic, and also can’t keep the “lampshade” on his head, because he is supposed to eat and he won’t even try with that thing on (plus he can’t reach into the bowl).
Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday — no matter what they are celebrating!!!

I used to take work home from the office every night, but I seldom found any time to do it. Better to get it done in the office.

I had the week off as well with tons of things to do. But, a stomach bug that hit late Tuesday had other plans.
