I dropped Netflix a long time ago. I enjoy the free ones more

My parents are probably going to be disappointed. There’s a lot of films available on disc that they don’t offer on streaming, and it can be hard to find some of them from other places unless you want to buy them.

I’m one of the few Netflix by-mail subscribers left. I like to copy them and add to my movie library.

Hooray for Dolph! Otherwise they’d be filming Rocky’s final fight in the geriatric ward.

I wonder if Stallone ever asked Mike Tyson to hit him ‘for real’? Stallone is alive, so I’m guessing not.

Poor Shorty Sly. Well he finally got some needed sleep. ~ Oprah Winfrey, not impressed

May the floored be with you as he is with the referee. And gesundheit.

Dolph Lundgren and Dan Reynolds are in a boxing scene in the Imagine Dragons video of “Believer.” Reynolds wanted as much verisimilitude as possible and insisted on taking real punches in the face. (More than twenty, by one account.) He apparently failed to “roll away” from one of those punches… which connected with his jaw… and which caused a (self-diagnosed) “brain bruise.” The video/song is terrific and is free on YouTube. Reynolds’ backstory is, incidentally, quite inspiring.

I was one of the ‘audience’ for the filming of Rocky IV. Dolph was HUGE in comparison to Sly… we all had a good chuckle when they brought out a wooden crate for him to stand on during a close up shot of them being ‘face to face’.

Buddy of mine did the same thing with his laptops from 2013. Bought a few BitCoins for next to nothing and lost track of the computers where the codes were stored.

I’ve gotten selective in which DVDs I rent from Netflix, since I won’t be able to much longer. Now it’s mostly old stuff that’s unlikely to stream.

Famous story about a Humphrey Bogart film—-ACTION IN THE NORTH ATLANTIC—1943

tHE SCRIPT CALLED FOR bOGART AND rAYMOND mASSEY TO JUMP OFF A BRIDGE INTO A BODY OF WATER WITH AN OIL FIRE BURNING ON IT.

Bogart and Massey got into a loud argument about whose stunt man was the bravest—-and ended up doing it themselves.

Both had their eyebrows burned off.

Netflix is hardly the only one involved in media hoarding.

Meanwhile, Dolf took a look at his masters in engineering and figured he’d have more fun acting in Rocky IV.

Stallone’s ego was wildly inflated by his movies. Dolph is HUGE and extremely strong.I also happen to like him a lot as an actor, and it seems he’s also a really nice, down to earth guy.
