National Weed Your Garden Day Nope! I did that yesterday and I’ll do more on Thursday, but not today. In fact, even if I did not have to go to work, we might actually have rain today so I couldn’t weed the garden if I wanted to.
Kitten update: 7 out of 8 have reached the 2 pound mark for getting spayed/neutered. The little tabby is still at just 1.13. I triedgiving her wet food to pork her up but she’s not interested in it. (spay date is this Thurs). The 6 from the same litter are quite the little porkers!I talked to Robyn last night and I’m taking all 8 to the shelter tomorrow afternoon. Usually, I just take them over at 5:30 AM the day of.She has to do all of the paperwork and she can do it for 2 or even 3 that morning but not with 8. Whichever one (or more) that don’t make weight will come back with me for a couple more weeks. I know the tabby will come back and maybe the little orange one. He’ right at the 2.0 mark so she might want him to gain a few more ounces.
Very funny. XD That commute sounds like a doggone catastrophe. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.) On another note, saw a dove, eight robins, a spotted towhee, four Wilson’s warblers, a rabbit, a chipmunk, and a junco while out walking today.

It was 6 years ago yesterday that cancer took the life of my sister, Martha. It doesn’t seem possible that 6 years have passed. I still miss her.
