Irving: THIS SUIT MAKES MY STOMACH LOOK FAT!!
Cathy: The men speak.
Charlene: The men finally looked in the mirror. Blonde woman: It's going to be a long Summer...
No, your stomach makes your suit look big. I noticed Cathy’s cover-it-all-up too! :-)Hello everyone! Bless the brave people who sacrificed and gave themselves for our country!!
Irving, it’s your bad habits that make your stomach big. At least the trunks don’tt make your buttsky look big.
Susan that’s gonna make Aaron laugh. :-) Morning lightenup and the morning crew. It’s supposed to be hot hot hot today so LMB and I were out early. Aaron didn’t get in until after 8:00 a.m.
HE needs to cover up!Good morning lightenup, nighthawks, Aaron, serenasakitty, SUSAN NEWMAN, GretchensMom, Billy, lindz.coop, hendelca, and gmforde!!lindz.coop: spellcheck insists you are “Linda” and hendelca it says your are "hendecagon " I need to look that up. Safe day to all!
TWO of my guy friends told me they won’t go to the waterpark with me because they’re too fat in a bathing suit. I couldn’t believe it!! :::dumbfounded::: And neither one of them is anywhere near obese!
It’s not the suit making your stomach look fat, Irving (although if the suit is too small it certainly doesn’t help matters) . . . it’s your fat stomach making your stomach look fat!!!!! Now you know how we women feel when it comes to bathing suit season! It’s why we diet and work out like crazy as summer approaches so we (hopefully!) don’t have to get all covered up to hide our imperfect, over-weight bodies just like Cathy is doing right now!!!
HI, AARON & DR. BILLY!
Good afternoon, lightenup, lightenupjr., K.F.G., Susan, lindz.coop, rgcviper, gmforde, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, hendelca, Gator007, legaleagle48, Willi Nilli, UM5, Wolf Emperor, J. Short and all the REST of the “Cathy” fanatics joining us here today. It was really nice “seeing” you all yesterday and it’s just as nice “seeing” you all again today!
Hi all Cathyites! Local weatherman just said scattered showers today, I’m looking out my back door, it’s dark, wind is howling, and raining so hard I can’t see my back fence!!Chance is pacing and growling. I’m glad BERYL is no closer than he is!!
I can’t relate, Irving. In my swim trunks I’m a hunk and a half. (Not my opinion — in my mind I’m two hunks). :-D
hi mom!
Re: your questions last night; recipes are handed down in Billy’s and my family. I’m French-Canadian and only 2nd generation American. Both my Canadian-born grandmothers could bake like there was no tomorrow. The raspberry almond torte, however, is my own creation. It’s in my head vs written down anywhere. Billy is Italian. (Yeah, I know, but somebody has to love him). :-D His mom and grandmothers are seasoned old-country cooks and bakers.
Willi Nilli we’ll see the tail end of Beryl over the next couple of days. Today it’s hot and muggy. Working overnight is going to be very uncomfortable. LOL Susan that was very funny. I always wondered if you saw my “when you arrive” greeting in the a.m.
I meant to add that we got a really quick storm this evening, but it wasn’t much. We’ll take it though because we need the rain. Not sure if it’ll amount to much by the time it gets up to DC. You guys usually get our weather patterns about 1/2 day after we do.
It was a scorcher here today — 93 (with 2 outdoor parties and a parade to go to), but the wind made it quite bearable.
Interesting our parade was sectioned into years of the latest wars (Iraq/Afghan), with each of the marchers holding a picture and the name and specs of someone who died. It really said it all, and I think a lot of people had their eyes opened to the real toll of war. Also a lot more people marching than usual — I’m sure in order to accomodate all the pictures. Sigh!

Cathy’s learned something! Cover up your fat and use the cover as a sunscreen. It makes me thing of an old tune about a “yellow dot bikini.” lol

If the suit make your stomach look big option1) loose the stomach 2) loose the suite 3) don’t go to the beach.

It ain’t the suit, Irving.
And I, too, wonder why Cathy seems to have covered herself in a parka today.
This comic really inspires some good conversation, doesn’ it?
lightenupjr over 12 years ago
Actually, Irving, it’s the stomach making the suit look small. Hi, everyone! Hey Willi Nilli! I guess the spell checker likes me! :)
