Looks like she’s wearing a version of Jerry Seinfeld’s puffy shirt! Run Cathy, run!

That puffy shirt has got to go. It makes her look like a barmaid wench. It’s easy to tell how Cathy Guisewite thinks about herself (fat) based on these comics, isn’t it??

It’s more fun when Sales Lady plays dress-up doll with Cathy. That way Cathy can deflect a bit of the looniness.

The fourth outfit (mostly red with the plaid skirt) is the only one that I would consider wearing (although it’s a lot of red). I don’t think this mythical woman exists anywhere except for on the runway.And “$3600 of silly spending money”?? Hi other Cathyites!! “She” does not exist. I love the look in panel 3 — too funny. I can’t imagine that CG thinks of herself as “fat” — I’ve met her and she is really quite petite.
