Well this isn’t a great sign

I can tell Nate won’t have a fun time in the beach

This is similar to what happened with Angie. Holy crap, it has already been 25 years?

“Boy from last summer”… Previous boyfriend?

His day at the beach will be no day at the beach.

Okay, okay, let’s give Peirce credit, an interesting swerve. Is Nate Insecure about being little, will he feel concerned about her ex (was it the jerk from the first arc?), will there be a heartwarming reassurance? Idk, but it’s hard to predict, which us nice!

6\10, not because it’s bad, just more of a story progression one and the little man joke is okay ig

Drama a comin.

Okay after some theorising I have a prediction (tho I could be so off here XD):

1. Nate feels insecure because he’s been called a little man (hence why he’s been showing off his muscles) and by Daphne’s ex (who I bet will be beefy)

2. After some verbal stupidity, Nate challenges the ex to a contest of strength, fails miserably (I have a feeling this arc will stretch to the end of next week)

3. Daphne, worried Nate’s hurt, scolds\asks him why and Nate explains he felt lacking. If she likes strong guys, why is she dating him?

4. Daphne explains she likes Nate just the way he is, and he’s handsome to her, he’s big in her heart, then kisses his cheek\hugs him if Peirce wants the kiss to be its own arc. Nate thinks to himself “wow. Suddenly I feel like I could lift anything”

I doubt it would be that sweet, but I can only hope

It IS really hard to predict tho. Maybe Daphne’s boy isn’t an ex. Maybe it will just be dumb jokes because Peirce gets one idea and repeats it ad nauseum. Let’s see what happens.

Wait a minute… Craig…watch out for the riptides….why do I have a chilling sense of foreboding here?

Oh, the plot thickens! Daphne is one of those “love ‘em and leave ‘em” gals. Just needs a boy toy for the summer.

But this one is kinda funny with Little Man, maybe Daphne’s ex, etc. But not a bad one actually, but oh NO boi.

Not sure what Daphne is, but it’s got “serial-” in front of it.

Find it weird everyone decided Daphne is some going around girl. The boy might not even have dated her, plus she had boys interested in her before! You really think Peirce will break them up after 2 months? Get real

OH, CRAP! WHY WOULD YOU SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT IN FRONT OF NATE??

Strip rating: 9/10 Also, Nate getting “offended” from being called a “little boy” is pretty funny.

Troy talks WAY too much.

Nate was happy at the start of the strip but things changed in the forth panel

….DAT boy dun moooooooved on, Troy, he dun moooooooooooved ON!!…….

….one of the things I’ve always like about this strip is, hey, these kids can WALK from their homes to the beach………cool!……

I’ve said it so many times because it fits so many situations in Big Nate, and I’ll say it again, “Trouble in Paradise”.

This leaves alot of possibilities for tomorrow’s strip and I like that

A tier this is a progressive strip but it leaves alot of possibilities open

What’s wrong with “little man?”

Really? This is only the second storyline after the big getting-together one, why are we getting tension now?

Ok, on a serious note, I really wonder when are we gonna see them kiss…
