But what name does she use? Ted got promoted. But to what? She got engaged. But to who? I only remember enough to prevent me from finishing anyone's card.

Amen to that. I end up not sending any cards to bloody anybody any more. Bless the ones who still send theirs to me. (Now those I should answer. Eh, maybe.)

I agree with Susan and legal eagle. For those who you keep in touch with, you should know these details, and if you don’t keep in touch with them very often but still consider them a friend, then a simple greeting will do.Good morning, Cathy clan!! It’s been raining here all day and it’s the kiddos last day of school before the break, so it’s been a little busy but I’ve enjoyed it.Hope you all are having a wonderful day!

lindz.coop Happy day after your birthday! I would like to thank those of you living the the northwest states for sending us your snow. We should be getting it later tonight – of course I have to travel tonight but that is normal. Actually, we need the snow to cover up the ice left over from our few days of freezing rain and to make it easier for Santa to land his sleigh.

OMG — I’m totally overwhelmed — Thank you all my “Cathyite” friends!! I showed this to my hubby too and he loved it. Actually the birthday is today — so you all got it right. We just went out last night to celebrate because of the concert I wanted to see. It’s so nice to be part of this great big nutty family!! Thanx again!!As for Cathy — it’s just an excuse — do you really have to know the name of the baby to send a Christmas card?!? The forwarding address is good for a year, skip the last name and just use first names, engagement, promotion — I don’t think they really matter when you’re sending out the cards. Just get them in the mail — last day for delivery by Christmas is coming up soon!!
