    Only half right, Stantis.

And you know which half. Everybody does.

One of the weird things about Jefferson was that he opposed slavery and had slaves. I doubt he was the only one. And I assume he jumped through ridiculous mental hoops to reconcile the conflict.

And the MAGAs would cancel him for denying the resurrection and taking scissors and paste to the Bible to cut out the stuff in the Gospels he didn’t believe.

Seems to me that the MAGAnauts are doing the bulk of canceling these days.

Fair enough, I’m always amazed at how our generation, in school, learned, generally that Jefferson was the cool guy, and Adams was the stick in the mud………………on the Ted Rall/Scott Stantis podcast front, Jan-Mar 2022 releases, I simply cannot count without giving up too much of my life, on how many matters these guys are dead wrong, to include points on which Scott is stating, “Ted, you were right, again.” According to these guys Biden was not running for re-election…………“nuh uh, no way, he ain’t doin’ it” type of not running. The Democrats were going to get destroyed in the 2022 mid-terms, per Rall, “It’s bleeping impossible,” for them to perform well. The Russians would not be going into Ukraine, as putzin was way too smart to do something like that……………………There’s much more guys. I just actually have a life to sit down and put that much energy into this project. I hope you are gitting the gist.

Ok, listen. I’m not going to argue the point but the fact is Jefferson had MANY faults. Acknowledging his faults is NOT canceling him.

There is a podcast, “The Thomas Jefferson Hour”. It recently changed it’s name and slightly changed its format. The guy who runs it, Clay Jenkinson, has spent his adult life studying and portraying Jefferson. He is an acknowledged expert on Jefferson and many other aspects of US History.

The web site from the original show is still up. Check it out. Listen to the episodes on Jefferson, where he often discusses cancel culture. He makes great sense.
