I’ve always believed that we should take the people that came up with the heat index and wind chill factor, tie them to a tree, and feed them large amounts of Ex-Lax.

Hammy needs to blow his nose more often. Discreetly.

Less gross on the funny pages? Ran out of other colors? Or, some people have told me that squirrel snot is blue, really this is true, this is what some people have told me.

So much snot from one tiny squirrel! He’s a Tardis!

Temp is relative anyway. Our city uses the temp at the airport. I live about 10 miles from there and NEVER have the same temp. Always 5 or so degrees higher. Then there is the difference from sun to shade. 5 to 10 degrees cooler.

Verne is wrong this time. The heat index reflects how dangerous the heat is to human beings, because it shows how easily the body can cool itself by sweating.
