When you get a call from a single, unmarried male telemarketer on his first day.

Video didn’t kill the radio star.

Smart answer.

Not the best way to conduct a poll.

Polling service, “What specifically are you listening to?”

Brutus, “Well at the moment, I am listening to you on my cell phone, annoying me with your inane, who cares? questions!”

Brutus is smarter than I thought.

Well there certainly a hiccup in this giddyup poll.

Walter Brennan played Grandpa Amos McCoy in the TV show “The Real McCoys”. I don’t know why but one line that Brennan had has stuck with me all of these years.

“Wait up Luke. I have a hiccup in my giddyup.”

I’m living that line now.

I’m hearing her, while I’m attempting to listen to the radio….

Poor Brutus. He made the mistake of answering a survey call. Now his phone number will be deluged with all sorts of spam calls. But, he is wise enough to be listening to Gladys, because I bet there will be a quiz later…

Except for being in my car, I rarely listen to the radio. And, when I do, only NPR. I like the news and classical music.

Someday Brutus might learn that you don’t have to answer a phone just because it rings.

That’s called a married man’s survival skill if he knows what’s good for him…..
