Caulfield, that’s easier before one develops ‘comfort zones.’ One likes one’s environment to include at least some dependable repetitions of a friendly nature.
I like cemeteries. Some find them eerie and threatening. For some reason I can’t explain, I find them peaceful and “comforting” for lack of a better word.
This a another great Jef//Frazz comic. I do appreciate so very much. The HIKE everyday commitment is something I do—but thanks to Jef//Frazz, this reinforces it all so very much. Another comic into the gocomics Favorites file.
I wish Jef Mallett could read this comment: You’ve inspired this 71-year-old! I’ve downloaded the Walk the Distance app and have set out on my decades-old fantasy of walking the Appalachian Trail. Thank you!!
I love that Frazzes choices of exercise are supplemented by age appropriate choices that encourage people of all ages to get fit and healthy. Otherwise it may just intimidates and discourages less fit people

I take an early morning 2 mile walk on my nights off, and every day during vacation
It’s the same route every time, but there is a nice park with a little pond along the way

Walking virtually somewhere when walking the same course every day keeps you from becoming bored and quitting.

Speaking as one for whom inertia is a way of life, I can testify to the truth of that final comment.
