Thatamom is smart

In 35 years, I have rarely taken out the garbage. It is my husbands job and I only do it if he is away for a week.

My mum told me when I first got married, many moons ago, that the jobs you do at home in the first three months are yours for life, so do not touch the garbage, even if it is full. Let him do it.

He does.

I do everything else around here but he does the garbage lol!

I would also point out he had little to do with the birthing process…

Years ago when we moved into a new neighborhood my wife saw women mowing the lawn. She said to me don’t get any bright ideas.

If your overall division of labor is fair, go through the list and see if the two of you are happy to trade any items. If, on the other hand, you do the outside chores and just “help” here and there with chores inside the house, it’s likely Andy is doing more total work.
