Even sadder is people walking with their children while staring at their phones.

I do use an AirTag on my dog because she does run in the bushes. Somehow she gets me to drop the leash…no worries as we are on a college campus and there are no cars.

It’s equally as bad when it happens at the dog park.

A dog is much more interesting than a phone.

I used to see that all the time when I walked my dog. The worst were the people who walked to the “green belt” and just stood there, staring at their phone, not even walking. I considered each dog walk a little adventure. Sure, some days you were tired or the weather was bad, etc. But I still did it, and kept focus on just that. And we did have lots of little adventures.

I agree with the poor dog ……. it’s the same with people when I try to talk to them person to person …………. might as well talk to the dog(s) ……. get better response ……………. ;(

I feel this way when I’m out with my adult daughter. I want to say, be here with me in this moment or I am going home but I rarely get to see her.
