A rider didn’t notice that crack as I read about it, somebody on the ground took a video of it and it took forever to get anybody to pay attention

Being stuck upside down on a roller coaster would be a nightmare for me.

What else is new about Mr. Chestnut?

Fury 325 at Carowinds. Considered one of the world’s greatest coasters. Yes, a bystander noticed the crack.

Hot-dog-eating contests are disgusting. People cramming a bunch of junk food down their throats just for the hell of it. Meanwhile, there are starving people all over the world. What a waste.

Hot dogs are food – Believe it or not.

I ate a hot dog for dinner last night. I considered eating two, but then I thought, “That’s sounds like a little too much.”

I don’t know.. I’d probably sit down with my hot dog and apply the right amounts of mustard, relish, chopped onions, and a small dash of sprinkled garlic powder and just sit and enjoy my meal.

May the engorged be with you as they are funneeee. Aaannndd gesundheit.

Did any of the people on the roller coaster have any health problems after being upside down for hours?

I would have been a very unhappy camper on that Wisconsin roller coaster.

Did that guy go on a roller coaster after wolfing down all those hot dogs? If he did, I hope other riders didn’t end up wearing the hot dogs. And how many of those people stuck upside down on that one coaster ended up with bloody noses?

ughhh…just imagine the outcome of those hotdogs…all of ’em….

All three were in the news this year.

What’s all the fuss about Joey Chestnut? As far as I can see, he’s just a glutton.

Good reminders of hidden dangers in the high-risk roller coasters – amen!!

If only you would’ve had a a story about Joey Chestnut and a rollercoaster you’d have had a hat trick on that subject. Perhaps tell how he barfed up all those wieners while riding?

I got to believe that right after the contest, Joey heads for the nearest restroom and upchucks those 70 plus hot dogs he consumed.

Recently think of OceanGate’s Titan. Fatigue no matter what the material would at some point fail. One would think that places with roller coasters would have at least a visual inspection of equipment once a day, metal fatigue happens not just on commercial airlines. I am most suspicious of bungee jumping places, failure results in death if not permanent physical harm.

I must say Ripley’s has really gone downhill. It is now resorting to posting everyday news events.

Since they didn’t tell you I will. Joey Chestnut ate 62 hot dogs in 10 minutes. His world record is 76.
