Ummmm ……. aaah, Scott? It’s not the Winslows of the world doubting facts, but the Carmens. Notable examples, the Big Lie about the election, climate change, covid is a hoax, trickle down economics, austerity economics, etm.
Might want to rethink where you’re trying to lay the blame.
Said sites tend to revolved with “I suspect” “I think” “It’s possible that” and so forth. Sorry, Winslow, but you’re not gonna win this one. Ignorance ain’t bliss.
Of course, the earth isn’t actually round. Certainly isn’t flat, though.
But it’s amazing. Some people can’t believe that Trump lost. Even though he lost the popular vote in 2016 and spent the next four years insulting the majority that didn’t vote for him the first time. Did he think that would make them change their minds and vote for him next time?
I voted for Trump. Twice. I believe he lost the second time. And I think if he’s found guilty of the stuff he’s accused of he belongs in jail.
That said: I also believe NEITHER Trump nor Biden should be running.
There isn’t a Fortune-500 company in the USA would would elect an 80-year-old to run a corporation. So why would we – the people – even consider allowing one to run an entire country? There MUST be someone, somewhere, in some political party, who is a better choice than those two.
Ok, i’ll let Stantis cast them as Abbott & Costello rather than their normal liberal/conservative personas. still, it is the right that supports the long cons with their hard earned money. Grifter in chief may well be running the country from behind bars if enough maga voters survived the Fox vaccine disinformation campaign. Times poll has it neck and neck, god help us.
Facts are facts. It’s interpretation of those facts that varies. Teen age girl announces “I’m pregnant” at the family table. That’s fact. The interpretation of that fact, and what it means for past, present, and future, varies among all those others there to hear it.
“People like you are still living in what we call the reality-based community. You believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality. That’s not the way the world really works anymore. We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you are studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors, and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”
And, boys and girls, that’s how we got into this mess.
I lived through the Nixon debacle. The main difference between then and now? After listening to what he did and said, the majority of American’s responded, “Even if I like what Nixon has done, said and supported, what he did was wrong and I won’t follow someone with that kind of character flaw.” Today I don’t see that. Today, people seem to be saying “We don’t care what he did, because he says what we want to hear we’ll let him do what ever he wants.”

Yeah, Darsan, the Party of Personal Responsibility has considerable trouble accepting responsibility of any kind.

The Republican mantra, circa George W. Bush:
“People like you are still living in what we call the reality-based community. You believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality. That’s not the way the world really works anymore. We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. Welcome to George Orwell’s 1984 where you can have alternative facts. It’s only going to get crazier with AI taking root in our world

No, Winslow, there are not sites that disprove any of that. There are plenty of sites that CLAIM to, but none that actually do.
