Ah yes, the answer to, “Women’s bodies are being exploited to create images for the sexual gratification of men” is to compel them to have their bodies exploited to create images for the sexual gratification of men, telling them it’s “their choice.” Even if she did choose it, this isn’t liberating. It’s giving perverts exactly what they want.

Ugh. Of course there’s a nude female in a movie about the atomic bomb. I mean… could have shown a nude Oppenheimer … but why run the risk of making sense in a movie about the man… named Oppenheimer…

Topless isn’t nude, in my book.

It’s common on the beaches in summer, many families around, don’t turn a hair.

I have not seen Oppy as yet, so no dea if it’s gratuitous or not (nor if a man takes his shirt of as well)

Well, that was fun. We all spent a huge amount of time and stomach acid chewing over—what? 10 seconds (typed “sexonds” before I caught myself:) in a three hour film. When people say there’s too great an emphasis on sex in society, I guess I will recall this discussion as exhibit (dang! I typed “sexhibit” first !!) A.

Are there any nude scenes in the Barbie movie?

Why, yes, this was appropriate. Just as appropriate as the topless scene in Witness, a movie about the Amish.
