I like oatmeal raisin cookies!

An accident vs. a deliberate act. = Kid logic?

I like raisins in oatmeal cookies, but my family hates them, so I make them chocolate chip cookies instead. (Just to keep the peace)

Raisins in oatmeal cookies are awesome!

Raisins are !healthy.

Even better are my wife’s oatmeal cookies with currants.

And yet, oatmeal raisin cookies exist. People who don’t like them act like they’re some kind of abomination, or super fringe food. They’re wildly popular. Some of us even few the exact opposite as this cartoon, and wonder why anyone would put chocolate chips in a cookie ON PURPOSE. Ick.

I prefer dried cranberries.

It didn’t matter what kind of cookies my mom made, they were fabulous, and yes, she made oatmeal-raisin…

Grew up in the Raisin Capital of World – Fresno! Like raisin in oatmeal cookies, oatmeal, raisin bread, cinnamon buns and straight from the box.

I love raisins — until someone puts them into something and cooks them. That’s a terrible thing to do to a perfectly good raisin.

So bugs in cookies are OK, because it wasn’t intentional.

The only thing wrong with raisin cookies is that they aren’t chocolate chip when you want chocolate chip

I honestly don’t know why some folks think raisins are so unpalatable. I love a good oatmeal raisin cookie or most other baked goods with raisins. They’re sweet, moist, and add a nice texture. But different strokes, I suppose.

far too often I’ve had oatmeal raisin cookies that were simply endured, not enjoyed. But there is a shop down the street that makes them perfectly, chewy, not too sweet, raisins still plump, just enough cinnamon. They are delightful.

Oatmeal Raisin > Chocolate Chip

I don’t care for oatmeal raisin cookies. Not because of the raisins, but because of the oatmeal.
