Start barking, Patty!

I went back and read the entire story arc from 1976. I have to say without giving anything away that this who arc is so entertaining. All I will say is that it lasts about a month.

What is a progressive school?

When I was Patty’s age, I was, at times, quite lame. But, even I knew that an obedience school wasn’t for humans. Though Patty could benefit from some obedience training.

Say “Hi” to Buckles why your there.

I would say the light is beginning to turn on, but in PP’s case it’s obscured by a thick fog

School would’ve been more fun with a dog.

No Patty, you’re just an idiot.

Patty’s about to be barking mad.

Patty does not pay attention to anyone and is not very observant. That is the only way she would not notice that ‘the funny looking kid with the big nose’ wasn’t human. I always wondered why no one explained it to her. Perhaps they did, but she did not pay attention.

I hope she has her shot records?

Something tells me she shouldn’t be picking her own school till she’s learned more at one ;)

To find out, Peppermint Patty will have to check out their cur-riculum and if she sucks up enough, she will be the Teacher’s Pet.

The rest rooms have signs on the door that say “Pointers and Setters”.

Dogs with emotional support people.

Wow, she is dense.

Okay, I can believe that Peppermint Patty would think that the obedience school was for humans, and I can buy that the other kids would fail to talk her out of it, but I don’t think I can swallow the staff of the school actually accepting her enrollment.

There are probably a lot of parents who would like to send their kids to obedience school, which is why t his arc isn’t too far out of left field

Sometime in the not too distant future of schooling….

This won’t end well. Or if I may dust off an old chestnut, I have a bad feeling about this.

Maybe she is simply visiting on “Bring your owner to class” day.

at least it’s not one of those regressive “voucher” schools
