It IS kind of rare to see a politician bribe actual taxpayers.

Locally the new mayor was going door to door and ended up giving a woman $100 cause she was one of the many poor folks in our town. he said it was not a bribe he just gave it to her because he had a hundred dollar bill and he felt she needed it more than he. he got elected. he used to be a general manager for the Duluth Airport before he came back to Canada to retire to fully paid health care he never paid into all the years he worked in America. I’m guessing he is used to bribing folks.

If he really wanted Andy’s vote, he should have said he was going to lower the price of beer.

Isn’t one of the Republican candidates doing something like this for donations so he can qualify for the debates?

I believe it was Stalin (you know… the DICTATOR) who said that elections are not determined by the voters, but by those who COUNT the votes?
