My car tells how close I am to the curb and warns me, while driving, if I lane wander so now the wife has upped her game by trying to beat the car computer warnings. God forbid if I complained about her driving…

She has a real problem with curbs. “Thankfully”, he’s on the problem.

Cars used to have “curb feelers”. What happened to them?

we live in a rural area and when we go to rummage sales you have to park in the ditch which makes it very hard to close the passengers door

Getting close is important. My parked car was involved in hit & run. Fortunately, a kind neighbor had video of commercial vehicle try to squeeze down street AND cop said if I was more than six inches from curb it would be no fault.

He’s not close to the curb, he’s on it.

I had one of the more excruciating experiences of my adult life while riding in the back seat of their car and listening to my parents argue about whether a curb was a foot high or twelve inches. God, I wish I were kidding!

Don’t they teach people anymore that if you line up the the front center of the hood on your car with the curb you will be about 6" from the curb
