It is truly amazing that so many people would rather have their relatives fall victim to gun violence than have any restrictions on gun ownership. Going to a shooting range is fine as long as your gun is unloaded and in the trunk of the car. Having a gun in your home for protection is also fine if you use good judgement and store it properly. Now, as for assault weapons…..There is absolutely no justification for them to be possessed by anyone who is not ON DUTY IN THE MILITARY!!!!!
A ‘liberal’ Faux Not-News presenter on The View pointed out that less than 300 trans kids got treatment this year while 5700 were shot… But stopping gender affirming surgery is the priority.
From what I’ve read the TN legislature resumes on Monday August 21 to discuss the proposals moving forward regarding the aftermath of a trans shooter who killed 6 people at a Christian elementary school in Nashville last March.
Looks like the leftists, as usual, are jumping the gun on proposed legislation in a state where many of them do not live, and likely haven’t visited. We’ll see what happens.
In the meantime, 19 were shot with 3 killed in Chicago last weekend. Slow weekend there I guess.
A man in the pursuit of deer, elk, and buffaloes might carry his rifle every day for forty years, and yet it would never be said of him that he had borne arms. Aymette v. State (Tenn)
“I’m just a bill, just a gun control bill, so in Tennessee my chances are nil. I have no hope of passing in the Volunteer State, I’d only be the subject of partisan debate. I guess I’d maybe be a law someday, I hope and pray that I will, but today I am still just a bill…”

In Tennessee the powers that be want children to get shot at school, or maimed working long hours at a factory job.
That’s freedom!

Clay, as a musician (though I know the treble clef isn’t there, ’s ok), thank you for the accurate notation in addition to your brilliant parody!

If someone says they’re pro life but don’t support a gun bill to save kids lives shows they’re an oxymoron, emphasis on the moron part.

Some bills need to die, just like speech codes.
