“Stay” is most important to learn…..

Stay the course

Oh won’t you stay,

Just a little bit longer,

Please let me hear you say that you will

Say you will

Stay out of trouble.

All of the images of the precious Buckles are so cute , it is hard to pick one of the panels today ? : )

Staying away from trouble, hopefully.

Let’s hope that Buckles actually does a good job of it at school the next day.

Will he “stay” when Paul says “come”?

Your doing very good Buckles …… you don’t have to know …………. “WHY” just do it ….. :)

But does Buckles connect the word “stay” with actually doing a “stay?” The hardest part for my dog was “leave it.” In hospitals, there can be many dangerous items on the floor, and dogs like my beagle are garbage disposals with feet. I had to spend a lot of practice time on “leave it.” She still doesn’t know words, but she gets the tone, and will leave it – if I see it first, that is.

I wonder if Buckles is going to be classmates with Peppermint Patty over in the Peanuts strip
