I thought this looked familiar March 29.1979 Ziggy Comics.I learned just to eat the desired food versus eating many more pounds of what I didn’t want to compensate.I have noticed that those starting a vegan diet are an incisive pain in the rear.
This is something I have told all those people who have asked me how I manage to stay so thin, since I eat all kinds of candy and baked goods. I always say “I have won’t power”, and eat anything in moderation. One piece of fudge or 2 small cookies, etc.. And I don’t eat anything at all after 7 P.M.
Poor Ziggy! Like a lot of us humans, he doesn’t have the horrible thought of that sumptuous, delicious, piece of desert landing on his hips, or anywhere else on his body!
I’m an air force brat who grew up in the Philippines and because domestic help was inexpensive there, the pilots wives baked all the time. My Mom made her carrot cake from scratch with real cream cheese frosting, she even did the carrots by hand and not a food processor. And her jelly rolls were pure heaven!!!
That’s me. I just spent the weekend taking baking classes at a bakery. Then, of course, I had to purchase two cakes and various other treats while at the bakery.

Sorry Zig, but why do you have it there then? Temping fate?

I agree Ziggy. And I’ve said it this way many times. It’s easy to have willpower (I will have a slice of cake!) but to have won’t power is harder.

I wont let the cake go stale.

I ate my two day old doughnut. It was my last one, but I’m optimistic more will come today.

Why, Ziggy? Pleasure first, sorrow later, way later…

My will power is on chocolate, I have to avoid, too allergic to. Not a fan of carrot cake.
