I thought doing things you don’t want to because of what some other person thinks is your basic definition of a job.

Plot Twist: those house shoes are actually the gutted carcass of the mascots who went after Gene. That’s why none of them dared to show up at his doorsteps ever again.

Gene is right. I don’t let anybody pressure me into doing anything. I wear slippers by choice.

Back in the day, it was a big thing to worry about what people thought….today, not so much!

Gene and Miles have it right. These days, peer pressure is worse than ever, from social media to angry adults acting like children.

Someone quoted this on GoComics a year ago and I’ve been stealing it ever since:
