No matter who is President next time around it’s still a nursing home

Snort. Varvel’s candidate is almost 3 years younger than Biden. Huge difference. Heck that’s more than FOUR PERCENT difference! Their abilities, though, are much farther apart than that mere 4%.

And the 4 years before that it was a kindergarten – at least nursing homes are for adults…..

Yeah, not worried about age. Neither are the repubs. Kind of like when they say they want term limits, but seem to want that to only apply to Democratic members.

Making a blanket pronouncement that a person has to retire by a certain age is specious thinking. At the same time, there is a valid argument that age and abilities (i.e., primarily physical strength, reflexes, and endurance) have a correlation. Age and cognitive ability need to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Senator McConnell and Senator Feinstein need to retire. Their inability to let go of the office they achieved is hurting their constituents and destroying their legacy.

Varvel, like many of his stable geniuses accuse Biden of controlling inflation and oil prices. At the same time they accuse him of being not mentally sound. Now that is some weird thinking.

After the last guy left, the chicken bones and hamburger wrappers cleaned out, the ketchup stains on the walls cleaned off, and a complete and thorough hazmat fumigation, it might now give the aura of tranquility. But a great deal of work has been done for the American people since then. And there is more to come.

And the Government Regulators just this week created new mandatory nursing home staffing guidelines. Who would have guessed?

Term limits would help, but it would take an “act of Congress” to accomplish. I don’t see that happening any time soon.

The best we can do is start supporting younger (qualified) people running for office in primaries and in the general elections.

I still think all candidates for public office should have to pass the U.S. citizenship exam, provide their income tax records for several years, and submit to a background check, first. Citizens should have a clear picture of the candidates.

Varvel ( and many others ) ignore that members of both the House and Senate are elected by American citizens … so, perhaps these ‘results’ are what we deserve….
