My personal target is 6,000/day… I find a return trip to the pub usually hits it…

One place I worked, they had a “health and fitness week” and handed out pedometers at random. One of the engineers put hers on, then stamped her feet up and down while seated in her office chair. It worked – 60 steps without getting up!

I got 12,000 yesterday. Twice what I usually do!! Before my new routine I would do about 2,000. I finally decided it was time to do what I’ve been told to do for decades. Better late than never, I guess.

Does the watch automatically reset each day?

Or is he just keeping a “running” total?

I like a watch that just tells time and minds its own business.

Recently I had an active job, my wife had a sedentary job. I retired, and in her new job, she gets in roughly 18,000 steps a day. I have been gaining weight, she has been losing weight. I used her own words against her and told her, “It’s not fair. Women lose weight so much easier than men do.” Her reply, “Do you want to die?”

I don’t know how many steps I got, but I rode 30 miles this morning. It was in the 60s here. Very nice,!
