I like my chili and Mexican food somewhat spicy, but up to a limit. If the food is so spicy you have to force it down, and possibly even injure yourself, what’s the point?
Not remotely funny, but this is a quote from Science Alert earlier this month:
A 14-year-old boy from Massachusetts in the US tragically died last Friday hours after eating a tortilla chip dusted with a spice made from two of the world’s hottest peppers, the Carolina Reaper and the Naga Viper.

Any food or spice that can be used as a torture device or paint remover is something that I avoid.

I like spicy, but it has to have good flavor. I’m not interested in spicy vinegar.

I’ve watched on Youtube, the guy who developed the Carolina Reaper. He looks like he is stoned after eating those things!
