I had a problem paying with my credit card online once, and called my bank. ETA was 30-minutes based on the automated system. Sometimes it would drop down to 25-minutes. After over 2-hours, I had put the hold music on speaker phone and cleaned my entire room when they finally answered. It turned out their whole credit card system was down, which explains why the wait time was so long: No one could make credit card payments at that time, it wasn’t just my card.
